GATE 2021 Cut Off

As mentioned above, the first hurdle to clear is to get the minimum qualifying mark in your paper. Only those who get this qualifying cut off mark will get a rank and be considered for admission to M.Tech and other courses. PSU Recruitment is also mostly open only for candidates who get qualifying marks.

The other inputs in the formula are – M is the marks obtained by the candidate (actual marks for single session papers andnormalized marks for multi-session papers). M̅t: is the mean of marks of top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions). Sq: 350, is the score assigned to Mq. And St: 900, is the score assigned to M̅ t.
