CMAT 2021 Result – Score Card
National Testing Agency has released the CMAT 2021 Result on the basis of the final answer key and the actual marks obtained by the candidate. The result can be checked online from the official website, which is cmat.nta.nic.in. NTA will also issue the CMAT Score Card to candidates through online mode. To download the CMAT Score Card, aspirants need to enter their Application Number and DOB. No rechecking/re-evaluation/re-totaling with regard to the result will be entertained.
CMAT 2021 Answer Keys and Response Sheets
CMAT 2021 Answer Key is released by the National Testing Agency on the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in. Along with the release of the CMAT provisional answer key, applicants can also download the question paper and response sheet. Candidates also have an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer keys with payment of Rs. 1000/- (Non-refundable) per question. On the basis of objections raised by the candidates, NTA will publish the CMAT final answer key. After the publication of the final answer key, no further communication will be entertained by NTA on the challenges raised by the applicants.

CMAT Result 2021 is announced on the basis of final answer key of the Common Management Admission Test. NTA declares the result for CMAT 2021 on the official website i.e cmat.nta.nic.in. No candidate is sent their individual scorecard through post / offline means.
Note – National Testing Agency (NTA) is the exam conducting body. NTA is also responsible for announcing the results and publishing CMAT 2021 score, and CMAT 2021 merit list. However admissions to MBA colleges is not done by NTA. In order to get admission, candidates need to apply for the relevant B-School and submit their CMAT scores.
How is CMAT 2021 Result calculated?
The official authority compiles the CMAT 2021 result with the help of the following steps.
Raw Score: First, the raw is calculated on the basis of the marking scheme.
- For each correct answer: 4 marks are awarded.
- For each incorrect answer: 1 mark is deducted
- For any unattempted question: Zero
- More than one option is correct as per final answer key, then multiple correct options get: 4 marks
- If the question is wrong: 4 marks to all candidates
Preparation of rank list: This raw score / total score is used for compilation of the CMAT 2021 merit list.

Tie Breaking Criteria for CMAT Result 2021
In case 2 or more candidates secure the same score, then the following criteria is used to break the tie.
- First, ranking is done in the following order of marks obtained by the candidates Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness.
- The older candidate is ranked higher.
- Candidates having same score would be given the same Merit, and the Merit number would be increased by the same number i.e. if there are two candidates at Merit 2, Merit 3 would not be awarded to the next candidate but Merit 4 would be given.
