CIP Ranchi Entrance Exam 2022 Selection Procedure
The selection procedure varies slightly for different academic courses. Refer below to the selection procedures for different courses of CIP Ranchi.
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology
An online entrance test will be conducted. The test will contain 100 MCQ questions of MA/M.Sc. standard and the total duration of the test will be 60 minutes (1 hour). The candidates who clear the test will be shortlisted for an interview and the selection will be done based on the combined score from the test as well as the practical & interview.
M.Phil. (PSW)
There will be an online entrance test that will consist of 100 MCQ questions of MSW standard. The total duration of the test will be 60 minutes (1 hour). The candidates who clear the test will be shortlisted for an interview and the selection will be done based on the combined marks scored by the candidate in the test as well as the interview.
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
There will be no test for the diploma course. The selection of the candidates will be carried out based on an interview.
CIP Ranchi Entrance Exam 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for CIP Ranchi entrance exam 2022 will be released online at cipranchi.nic.in after the application process is completed. Candidates are advised to carry a printed copy of their admit cards on the day of the examination and ensure that the admit card is not damaged or spoiled in any manner.
CIP Ranchi Reservation Criteria
As per the official notification released by CIP Ranchi, the reservation of seats for all groups and courses is mentioned below.

The above reservation is subject to the availability of candidates in each category. In addition to above, there will also be a 3% horizontal reservation for PwD candidates (only for locomotor disabilities of lower limbs between 50% to 70%) subject to the availability of such candidates.
If the PwD candidates in 50% to 70% category are not available, then 40% to < 50% category of candidates may be considered for PwD category. If suitable candidates are not available under these reserved categories, seats will be filled up by unreserved category candidates. There is no reservation in Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology course.

Candidates who aspire to appear for the exam can apply online if they fulfill the eligibility criteria for their respective courses.
