Chitkara University Admission Criteria 2021
The selection criteria of Chitkara University admission 2020 differs from courses to course. A brief outline of the selection process is given below:
MBA
- Selection based on CAT / MAT / NMAT / XAT / CMAT scores followed by group discussion and PI. or
- Applicants who have not taken any of the national level entrance examinations shall have to take Chitkara University Test with group discussions and personal interviews.
All UG engineering courses:
- Selection is purely based on JEE Main 2021 scores and rank.
All UG art and design courses:
- Admission is based on valid UCEED scores. OR
- The candidates who do not have a valid UCEED score have to appear in the Chitkara University design aptitude test (CUDAT).
Other courses:
- Admission is based on qualifying exam marks followed by personal interviews.
Chitkara University Admission 2021 Process
The following stages are involved in the admission process of Chtkara University. The candidates have to be available at each of the stages as per the course they are seeking admission to be able to take admission in the University:
Application form: The admission procedure will commence after an eligible candidate has applied for admission and his application has been received in the admission office within the due date.
Selection: The candidates have to apply for the selection as per the course they have applied for. Check the “Chitkara University Admission Criteria 2021” for the selection criteria of each course.
Counselling: Selected candidates would have to personally appear before the counselling committee on the date and time specified. Failure to do so results in the rejection of the application.
Allocation of seats: The seats in the various programs is allotted based on merit-ranking of the student in the specified entrance test subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for the program and the preferences indicated in the counselling form at the time of counselling.
Payment and confirmation of seats: Students will be admitted only after receipt of full fee at the time of counseling. The fee shall be paid either in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of “Chitkara University” payable at Chandigarh.
