- Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by Central / State government through a legislation with Physics and Mathematics along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology and Technical Vocational subject can apply.
- Diploma holders in any engineering trade from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education or SLIET Longowal can also apply for bachelor’s course in any stream.
B.Tech – Lateral Entry
For Diploma Holders
- The candidates must have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% (40% for reserved category students) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
For B.Sc Degree Holders
- The candidates must have passed B.Sc degree from a recognized university as defined by UGC with at least 45% and passed class 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject.
(Provided that the candidates of B.Sc degree must clear the subjects like Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing / Engineering Mechanics of the 1st year Engineering programme along with 2nd year subjects.
