CG Pre MCA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates intending to apply for appearing in the CG Pre MCA 2021 examination must fulfil certain minimum eligibility criteria for admission. The minimum conditions of eligibility for the exam can be checked out below in this section.
- Applicants must have passed 3 years’ degree course in BCA/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized institute.
- UR candidates must have passed by securing 50% or more marks while there is 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST, OBC and PWD candidates.
- Those who have passed 3 years’ B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 or Graduate level are also eligible.
CG Pre MCA 2021 Application Form
Applications for appearing in the Pre MCA entrance exam are accepted online through the official website of the CPEB i.e. vyapam.cgstate.gov.in only. There are no provisions for offline application or fee payment. Candidates can check out the step by step procedure in this section.
- Go to the Latest News section of the website vyapam.cgstate.gov.in after opening the website on a computer.
- The latest advertisement & invitation to apply online is indicated in the section as per schedule. Candidates have to click on this link to proceed.
- Click on the link for New User Registration and fill up the registration form correctly.
- Complete the registration to get the Registration Number & Password.
- Login to the website using the credentials generated to access the online application form.
- Now, fill up the CG Pre MCA 2021 application form by entering all the details correctly.
- Upload scanned images of passport sized photograph & signature.
- Proceed to pay the application fee online and make the payment of the application fee.
- Submit the application form.
- Generate print-outs of the application form after submission & of the fee receipt. These must be preserved for future reference.

CG Pre MCA 2021 Admit Card
The admit card is the most important document for appearing in the CG Pre MCA exam. CPEB releases the CG Pre MCA 2021 admit card online at the official website i.e. vyapam.cgstate.gov.in as per schedule before the exam. Registered candidates have to log in with the Registration Number & Date of Birth/Password to download the admit card. After downloading, one must print it out and carry the print-out to the exam centre on the date of the exam. Candidates without a valid admit card is not allowed to enter the exam centre.
Important points to note about CG Pre MCA admit card:
- The admit card indicates the exact details of the designated exam centre, date & time of the exam. Candidates must report accordingly to the exam centre.
- Along with the admit card, one must carry a valid photo identity proof to the exam centre.
- Candidates are advised to verify the information on the admit card. It indicates the name, roll number, parents’ name, gender etc. Any discrepancy must be notified to the Board immediately.
- Candidates must carefully read and follow the instructions on the admit card.
CG Pre MCA 2021 Answer Key
Like many other exams of the CPEB, the answer key for CG Pre MCA 2021 also releases after the exam at the official website. Once the answer key is out for the first time (it releases twice), candidates who took the test are invited to raise objections against the provisional keys.
- Complete instructions for raising objections is indicated by the CPEB in due course of time. In general, a fee per question is required to be paid in order to challenge the answers.
- Candidates must be quick to raise objections as only a limited time is allowed for this. Once the objection window closes, no new objections are received.
- The experts at the Board evaluate the objections and revisions are made in the answer key as per valid objections. The final answer key the releases after that.
- No objection can be raised against the final keys and the results are compiled on the basis of the final answer keys only.
CG Pre MCA 2021 Result
CPEB releases the result of the Pre MCA exam on the official website i.e. vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The result releases after the final answer key. Candidates are allowed to check their score in the examination through the candidate login option. This means that one must log in with their Registration Number and Password/DOB to check their CG Pre MCA 2021 Result.
The CG Pre MCA merit lists are drawn on the basis of the entrance test only. Candidates are called to appear in the final counselling for admission session once the result releases.
CG Pre MCA 2021 Counselling
Admission counselling is an online method. Candidates are invited to register online at the vyapam website after the exam following the declaration of the result. Those who qualify and appear in the counselling are offered seats in the MCA program in state institutions on the basis of merit & availability of seats.
It may be noted that eligibility of the applicants is not verified at the time of online application. Thus, document verification is mandatory at the time of counselling. Candidates are required to produce the original documents as specified by the CPEB in counselling instructions.
