CBSE Date Sheet 2021 of Class 12
After a long delay, finally the Central Board of Secondary Education is announcing class 12, 10 date sheet 2021. The Education Minister made this announcement on 28th January.
This year schools did not re-open due to the pandemic and classes were disrupted. Due to this reason the syllabus was cut by 30% for all classes in the board. Now based on the revised syllabus, board exam will be held.
Official websites to check the date sheet is cbse.gov.in.
NEET 2021 Exam Date Depends on CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2021
Barring repeaters, the contenders of NEET UG 2021 are class 12 appearing students. It is important for NTA to ensure that the date of NEET exam does not clash with board exam dates. Therefore the class 12 date sheet 2021 will impact the exam date of NEET 2021 exam as well.
As we already know that the exam for class 12 students are from May 4 to June 14, 2021, therefore there are high chances that the exam will be held in end of June.
However, if the exam is held twice, then the dates can be in May-June, and June-July.
NEET 2021 Issues:
In recent media update, it has come to light that Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has denied education minister’s, Ramesh Pokhriyal, request to conduct NEET twice.
The health minister, Harsh Vardhan, consulted with the National Medical Commission (NMC) regarding conducting the exam twice. In the meet, both the parties disagreed to hold the exam multiple times a year. The disagreement has been conveyed to the education minister, who has made a personal appeal to MoHFW for reconsidering the proposal.
The reason for the denial remain uncertain. However, as per the reports, the officials have confirmed that NMC, which decided the syllabus for NEET, is apprehensive towards the notion to hold the exam twice. There are also talks which point out that decision to hold NEET twice is under the preview of NMC and not with the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, Dr SC Sharma, the chairman of the commission, has denied to provide any comment on the matter.
So will NEET 2021 Be Held Once?
The chances are now 50-50. Although the health minister and NMC has shown disagreement on the matter, the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, has made a personal appeal to the health minister to reconsider the possibility. To this, health minister, Harsh Vardhan, has agreed to give it another though.
Earlier this month, NTA also requested to hold the exam online. Until now, NEET has also been conducted in online mode. The idea behind holding the exam twice was to give students an an alternative date so that holding the exam is easy, esp for the students.
Unlike JEE Main, the decision on NEET can only be taken after 100% clearance from MoHFW and NMC. Hence, we shall only get to know if NEET will be held twice or not in due course of time.
Will NEET 2021 be held Online?
As per NTA, the decision to hold the exam would favour the 15 lakh candidates who had registered for the exam last time. However, the decision on this is also pending so far.
What Should the NEET 2021 Aspirants Hope?

Then What About NEET 2021 Exam Date?
Now that the matter of holding the exam more than once and the mode of t is uncertain even with the decision making bodies, the NEET exam date announcement will have to wait.
Until NMC makes any decision the exam date cannot be announced. However, it is expected that the decision will be made soon and an official announcement on exam date will be made.
Registrations: Similarly once the NEET exam date is decided the announcement for NEET 2021 registration will follow.
