CAT 2021 Exam Timing – IIM Ahmedabad is going to conduct the CAT 2021 on 28 November 2021, on Sunday in 3 sessions. The CAT 2021 is conducted as a necessity to take admission in various PG management programs in different IIMs and other top b-schools of India. The three slots are morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. The morning or forenoon session is from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

CAT 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to help you decide what to do and what not to do at the exam center. Also, the most confusing question ‘What to bring to the exam center?’ is also answered clearly here for you to understand better. So, get along to clear all your doubts.

  • The most important and foremost thing to bring with you is your admit card. Print the admit card after downloading it from the official website. Use A4 size sheet to get your admit card printed. The centers also prefer laser printer-printed admit cards.
  • Paste a photograph on the admit card where the space is provided. You should paste the photograph before handing the admit card for verification at test center.
  • Candidates will receive an SMS or e-mail on their registered mobile number or e-mail id. This SMS or e-mail will provide the timing at which you should reach the center.
  • Also, make sure you reach the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.
  • Provide your signature on the attendance sheet at the registration desk.
  • After the exam starts, you should use the mouse only to click the right answer. It is advised not to use the keyboard as it may lead to locking of your test.
  • After completion of the examination, make sure you take your original ID proof and printed admit card with you out of the center.
  • Do not argue or misbehave with any of the staff member or invigilator at the center because it may lead to cancellation of your examination.
  • Also make sure you reach the center at your session timing only which is mentioned on your admit card. If you try to appear before or after your session, your candidature may be cancelled.
  • Do not carry any electronic item at the exam center.
  • Do not waste pad pages because another pad will not be provided.

CAT 2021 COVID Guidelines

Keeping in view the current COVID scenario, all candidates must follow the COVID guidelines for their and other candidates’ safety.

  • Candidates must follow the social distancing rules while and after entering the test center.
  • Candidates will be made to undergo a temperature check before their entry in the examination hall.
  • You are advised to wear a mask and use sanitizer to ensure your safety.

CAT 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for the exam has been released. All the candidates who have applied for the exam and have paid the test fee can download their admit card from the official website, here.

Admit card is the most important document to carry to the exam center on exam day. You should get admit card printed after downloading it from the website.

The slot or session in which you will have to appear, i.e., morning, afternoon, or evening, will also be mentioned on the admit card only.
