CAT 2022 Exam Pattern – CAT 2022 Exam Pattern would consist of 3 sections, and a total of 66 questions to be attempted in 2 hours for a maximum of 198 marks. First section, VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension) will consists of 24 questions; second QA (Quantitative Aptitude) will have 22 questions; the last DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning) will have 20 questions. CAT 2022 would be an online computer based test (CBT), conducted in English, in which Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), and Type In The Answer (TITA) questions will be asked. MQCs will have 4 or more option from which candidates has to select one option as their answer, whereas in CAT TITA type questions, the candidates has to type in their own answers. For each correct answer by the candidate, +3 marks would be granted; CAT 2022 would have negative marking of -1 Mark for each incorrect attempt (except TITA Questions).
