BITSAT 2021 – Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is allowing candidates to book slots from July 17 to July 27, 2021. With this, the admit card for BITSAT 2021 has been released at bitsadmission.com. BITS Admission Test will be held from August 03-09, 2021. Earlier, the was scheduled to be held from August 03-06, 2021. It is a computer-based test held for admission into B.E, B.Pharm, and Integrated M.Sc programs.
It is an institute-level engineering entrance exam through which, candidates can take admission in the campuses of BITS situated at Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. BITS Pilani has announced the test cities for BITSAT 2021. The candidates can check it from bitsadmission.com. To check it, the candidates have to login by entering the application number and password. After checking the city allotment, the candidates can do the slot booking.

Exam Pattern of BITSAT 2021
BITSAT 2021 is a computer-based online test. Check the details about the exam given below.
Duration: The candidates are given 3 hours to complete the test.
Parts: The test has 4 parts.
Type of questions: All questions in the test are objective type.
No. of questions: There are 150 questions in the test.
Marking scheme: For each correct answer, 03 marks are awarded. 01 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

There is no sectional time limit. The candidates can go back and change their answers among the 150 questions.
Important: If any candidate attempts all 150 questions (without skipping any question), then they will get a chance of answering 12 additional questions, if the time is still left. These questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology (4 from each subject).
Also, keep in mind if the candidate has opted for extra questions, he / she cannot go back for correction of the earlier answered 150 questions.

Preparation Tips for BITSAT 2021
Check the preparation tips given below for BITSAT 2021.
Tip #1: Go through the syllabus and exam pattern: Firstly, check the syllabus properly. After checking the syllabus, one will have a clear picture about what topics have to be studied. Also, check the exam pattern to know the marking scheme, duration to complete the test etc.
Tip #2: Start the preparation with important topics: After knowing the syllabus, one will get to know the weightage of topics. So, make a timetable and divide it according to the important topics and less important topics. Then, write down the daily or weekly targets and follow them.
Tip #3: Choose the best study material: First of all, complete the NCERT books. Then, choose one or two reference books. It is advised not to refer too many books.
Tip #4: Solve previous year question papers: Solve the last 10 years question papers to know about the type of questions that have been coming over the years. Solving previous year question papers also help in improving the speed to solve and understand the questions.
Tip #5: Solve mock tests: To know about the actual pattern of the exam, it is advised to practice more and more mock tests.
BITSAT 2021 Slot Booking
All the registered candidates can do BITSAT 2021 slot booking. Those candidates who have been intimated about their exam city can reserve the test date and slot, as per schedule.
- The slot booking can be done as per the candidate’s convenience and availability of slots at the test centres.
- Each day the exam will be held in two slots and the candidates are required to select one slot.
- The candidates who book the slots will be issued the admit cards.
BITSAT 2021 Hall Ticket / Admit Card
The candidates can download BITSAT 2021 hall ticket / admit card only after the slot booking is done. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the login credentials.
- Only the candidates who have the admit card on the day of the examination will be given entry in the exam centre.
- Details about the exam such as exam date, exam timings, roll number, address of the exam centre, instructions for the exam are mentioned in the hall ticket.
- Along with BITSAT 2021 admit card, the candidates are required to carry a valid id proof, signed-in declaration, mask, hand sanitizer (50 ml), a simple pen, transparent water bottle.

BITSAT 2021 Result
Just after the completion of the test, the score report will be displayed on the screen. The candidates can also check BITSAT 2021 result at a later stage from bitsadmission.com.
- After the declaration of the results, the candidates need to fill the admission form with 12th class and preferences for BITS campus.
- The admission decision is announced later and are known with the name Iterations.
- The merit position of the eligible candidates are prepared on the absis of the score obtained in BITSAT 2021.
Merit List: Two types of merit lists are prepared; one for all the programmes except B.Pharm and the other, only for B.Pharm.

BITSAT 2021 Registration / Application Form
The BITSAT 2021 application form has been released on 23 February.
The candidates can fill the form online only at bitsadmission.com. Note that the printout of the submitted application form must not be sent via post to BITS Pilani.

- Register: Click on the link of the application form given above on this page. Now, click on the ‘New Registration’ button and enter the personal details like name, email id, mobile number etc.
- Complete the application form: After the completion of the registration process, the unique application number is generated. Now, enter the other personal details, address details and academic details. Also, select the exam centres.
- Upload the images: After entering all the details, upload the images of photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee: Then, select the payment gateway and pay the application fee.
- Take the printout of the submitted application form: Lastly, take the printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.

BITSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who are eyeing to appear for BITSAT 2021 and obtain seats in B.E, B.Pharm and Integrated M.Sc programmes must fulfill the eligibility conditions given below.
For all the programmes except B.Pharm: The candidates must have passed 12th class exam from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
For B.Pharm: The candidates must have passed 12th class exam from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. Candidates with PCM can also apply for B.Pharm.
- The candidates who have appeared in 12th class exam in 2021 or who have passed the same in 2020 can apply for BITSAT 2021.
Minimum percentage needed to apply
- The candidates must have obtained minimum 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology.
- Also, the candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in each of the subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology.
Direct Admission to Board Toppers: The candidates who obtain the first rank in any of the Central or State board exam in India conducted in the year 2021 shall be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2021 score.
