BITSAT 2021 – BITS Pilani will conduct Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) for 2021-22 admissions. It is the yearly computer-based tests for admission to integrated first-degree programmes. The BITSAT 2021 exam is expected to be held by BITS Pilani in different iterations over multiple dates in 3rd and 4th week of May 2021. Registration is likely to start in January 2021.
When will BITS Pilani announce BITSAT 2021 Exam Date and Start Registration?

Can there be a delay in BITSAT 2021? >> Yes, there may be a delay but the chances are less. BITSAT is usually in May and is almost the last of engineering entrance exams in the calendar. Still, this year, anything can happen. A lot depends on reopening of schools, board exam dates 2021, and exam dates of national level exams like JEE Main 2021.

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus of the BITSAT 2021 entrance exam is specified by the institute in the official information brochure. Will BITSAT syllabus for 2021 exam be reduced?
CBSE reduced the syllabus of class 11, 12 students by 30% this year. Therefore there are chances that BITSAT syllabus could be reduced. However only BITS Pilani can confirm it. Until the BITSAT 2021 information brochure releases, students are advised to prepare from last year’s syllabus, without assuming deductions. Study all topics.
BITSAT 2021 Registration, Application Form
As per last year’s application process, BITSAT 2021 applications can be submitted online at the official website i.e. bitsadmission.com. At first, one must register at the website. Thereafter, registered candidates can fill up the application form by logging in with the registration number and password. An examination fee as specified by the Institute must also be paid online.
How to apply?
Step 1: Go to the official website i.e. bitsadmission.com. Click on the link to register (in the duration that registration is open!).
Step 2: Enter necessary credentials. You will have to input fields such as name, date of birth, email id. Mobile number etc to complete the registration process of BITSAT 2021.
Step 3: Note down the registration number and password generated upon successful registration.
Step 4: Click on the “Go to Application Form” link. Now fill up the application form of BITSAT 2021.
Step 5: Upload relevant supporting documents.
Step 6: Complete the payment process and click on final submission of the BITSAT Application Form 2021.
Applicants of BITSAT 2021 are required to pay an application fee as specified by the institute in the official information brochure. As per facilities provided by the University last year, the fee can be paid by using online methods such as internet banking, debit/credit card or using offline methods such as payslips.

Eligibility Criteria To Appear in BITSAT
BITS specifies the complete eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to appear in the exam and qualify for admission to one of the campuses of BITS Pilani. The eligibility criteria are specified in terms of the educational qualification of the aspirants. - 12th pass candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply to all programs except B. Pharma.
- 12th pass candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply to B.Pharma program.
- Candidates must have secured minimum aggregate marks of 75% and 60% in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
Direct Admission to Board Toppers: BITS Pilani allow Central and State board toppers to apply directly for admission to the aforementioned program offered by the Institute. This is irrespective of the BITSAT 2021 score of the concerned candidate.
BITSAT 2021 Exam Pattern
As far as the scheme and pattern of the question paper of BITSAT 2021 are concerned, BITS Pilani conducted a computer-based test for BITSAT in the last iteration of the exam. - Mode: The exam is conducted as a computer-based test
- Sections: There are 4 parts of the paper viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology & English/Logical Reasoning
- Duration: Candidates are allowed 03 hours time to complete the test
- Type of Questions: All questions are of MCQ type with only one correct answer
- Number of Questions: There are 150 questions in all
- Marking Scheme: Correct answers are awarded 03 marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
- Language: The test will be conducted in English only.
Important: If a candidate attempts all 150 questions without skipping before time, 12 additional questions are asked. Those who opt for the extra questions cannot go back to the set for corrections.

BITSAT 2021 Slot Booking
Candidates who successfully apply for BITSAT 2021 have to book slots to appear in the exam. As per the previous year, the examination is conducted in two shifts i.e. from 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM and from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM. One can select any slot to take the test.
- Only successful applicants can book slots on a first come first serve basis. One must log in with the application number and password to be able to book a slot of their choice.
How to Book Slot for BITSAT 2021?
Candidates can easily book a slot for BITSAT 2021 by logging in with the application number and password.
- Step 1: At the homepage of bitsadmission.com, click on the link for Slot Booking.
- Step 2: Enter the BITSAT 2021 application number and password to login. If you forgot either, use the forgot link.
- Step 3: One can choose the Test Date and Test Time (available on a first come first serve basis).
- Step 4: Select preferred slot and click on “Proceed”.

BITSAT Admit Card / Hall Ticket 2021
Eligible applicants are issued hall tickets to appear in the BITSAT 2021 exam. However, the admit card is issued to those candidates who complete the slot booking process before the last date. In order to download the admit card, candidates need to login to the website using the application number and password.
As soon as the BITSAT Admit Card 2021 is released online,
- At the home page of bitsadmission.com, click on the link to download the BITSAT Admit Card 2021.
- Log in by entering the User ID and Password
- The BITSAT 2021 admit card is displayed on-screen upon login.
- Download the soft copy of the admit card and generate multiple print outs.
Candidates are required to produce the printed copy of the admit card at the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to enter the exam hall. Further information about the admit card of BITSAT 2021 will be disseminated through the official information brochure as per schedule.
BITSAT 2021 Results
The final result of the BITSAT 2021 exam is released at the official website in the form of merit list of candidates shortlisted for counselling and admission. However, candidates can check their scores on the very next day. The institute conducts the exam in different slots and the marks of the candidates who appear in the respective slots are uploaded by the institute. Candidates can check the score by logging in with their credentials at the official website. Final merit lists can only be accessed after candidates have submitted their 10+2 mark sheets.
