JAM 2022 Preparation Tips
Candidates need to follow a robust plan before preparing for JAM. The following preparation tips are based on the interviews of the toppers and exam experts.
- The very first step in preparation is to take a brief look at the entrance exam syllabus. Candidates must note down all the important points included in the Jam Syllabus 2022 and try to finish it on a priority basis and allocate extra marks for its preparation.
- One must start preparing a timetable in order to effectively allocate their time for exam preparation. Candidates must share 24 hours to cover each unit and subjects before the exam. Don’t create an unrealistic schedule and time table that can never be completed. Spend some time in extracurricular activities for refreshments.
- To get a good rank, students will have to start their preparation as early as possible so that they will get enough time for revision.
- Practicing the previous year’s JAM questionnaire will enhance the candidates readiness and also give students a reality test in terms of their preparation. The exam pattern for JAM 2022 is given below.
- Question Type – Objective type test
- Number of questions – 60
- Time Duration – 3 hours
- Marking Scheme –
- Each question in MCQ section, 1 or 2 marks for the correct answer.
- In MSQ section, 02 marks for the each correct answer.
- In NAT section, 1 or 2 marks for the each correct answer.
- Negative marking: Only MCQ questions will have negative marking such as for 1-mark question, ⅓ mark will be deducted and for 2-mark question, ⅔ mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking in MSQ and NAT questions.
- Examination Mode – Computer Based Test
- Language of Exam – Candidates may note that all questions will be in English language only.
