  • Mode of the examination: Part A will be conducted as CBT and Part B will be pen and paper based
  • Duration: The duration of Part A is 1 hour while that of Part B is 2 hours.
  • Type of questions: NAT, MSQ and MCQs in Part A and Design questions in Part B.

  • Exam Language: The medium of the paper is English.

How to Prepare for CEED 2022?

Candidates can refer to the following tips given below for CEED 2022 preparation:

Make a study schedule: To pass the CEED test with a decent score, you must be able to manage your time effectively. Prepare a detailed time schedule that may be followed when studying for CEED 2022. It is critical to prioritise the most vital tasks in order to perform effectively.

Experiment with drawing: Candidates should practise freehand sketching of their surroundings or anything that inspires them. They should also try to experiment by sketching a scenario with someone else’s perspective/ point of view. This will allow room for creativity and inventiveness.

Examine the CEED sample papers: It is strongly recommended that you practise CEED sample papers to have a better grasp of the test structure and question style. Solving practise papers might help you build confidence and relieve test anxiety.

About CEED

The Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is conducted to evaluate a candidate’s aptitude for design, which includes visual perception, drawing skills, logical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving abilities. IIT Bombay is in charge of CEED. It is a prerequisite for Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur, as well as PhD programmes at a number of IITs and design schools.
