AIIMS PhD 2021 Admit Card
Admit card for CBTs of AIIMS PhD 2021 admissions releases online at the official website. The admit card releases through candidate login at the website aiimsexams.org. This means that candidates have to log in with the Candidate ID and Password generated at the time of online registrations to download the admit card.
Candidates may note that the admit card is not sent by post. It is mandatory for a candidate to have a valid admit card in order to appear in the CBTs. In case of any discrepancy in the AIIMS PhD 2021 Admit Card, candidates must immediately contact the Institute by writing an email to Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi-110608 on email@example.com.
AIIMS PhD Admissions Selection Procedure
A three-stage selection procedure is followed by the Institute for selection and admission to PhD programs. Check out the details of the selection procedure for Medical and Non Medical candidates below.
Common Selection Stages for All Candidates
Stage I: Stage I is the first part of the CBTs. It is based on Aptitude related questions covering English and others like biostatistics, Research Methodology, Cell Biology, Lab Technology etc. There are 30 questions in this stage.
Stage II: Stage II is the second part of the CBTs. It consist of 40 subject related questions of the level of MD/MS/MDS/M.Sc Entrance Level.
Final Selection Procedure for Medical Candidates
Stage III: Stage III consist of departmental assessment carrying 20 marks. Candidates who secure at least 35 marks in Stage I & II taken together are selected for Stage III. In addition, 10 marks special weightage is also awarded for fulfilling eligibility related to medical qualification and eligibility for Stage III. Candidates three times the number of available seats are selected for the Stage III.
Final Selection Procedure for Non-Medical Candidates
Stage III: Candidates securing at least 35 marks in Stage I & II taken together are selected for Stage III. 10 marks special weightage is also awarded for fulfilling eligibility for Stage III and qualification in Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF, ICMR-JRF, ICMR-SRF, DBT-JRF, NBHM Screening Test, GATE or INSPIRE fellowship leading to the award of fellowship tenable at AIIMS in the last two years. Candidates three times the number of seats available are selected for Stage III which carries 20 marks for the departmental assessment.
Note: For final selection, candidates must score at least 50% marks in all the stages taken together.
AIIMS PhD Result 2021
All India Institute of Medical Sciences publishes the AIIMS PhD Result at the official website after the exam. The result releases separately for the CBTs and final results. Candidates can check the result at aiimsexams.org as per schedule after the completion of the CBTs and Departments Assessment (Final Result). One must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the CBTs and overall in all stages taken together for final selection.

Tie Resolution Method
Thement Institute adopts the following tie resolution criteria in case two or more candidates secure the same marks.
- The age of the concerned candidates is considered for resolution of ties.
- Candidates older in age is preferred over those who are younger according to Date of Birth.

AIIMS PhD 2021 Eligibility Criteria
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi lays down certain minimum conditions of eligibility for candidates intending to apply for PhD admissions in January 2021 session. Check out the eligibility criteria as prescribed in the prospectus.
- Candidates must be holding an MBBS/BDS qualification with at least 55% marks.
- Those who have an MD/MD/MDS/DM/M.Ch qualification in concerned subjects or Diplomate of NBE are also eligible to apply.
- Any candidates who passed degrees from medical colleges that are not recognized by the Medical Council of India are not eligible to take part in the admission process.
- Candidates with M.Sc Nursing qualification with at least 55% marks are also eligible to apply.
- Those who have an M.Sc (other than Nursing)/M.Tech & BAMS qualification are also eligible to apply provided that they have acquired at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree exam.
