AIBE XVI (16) will be an open-book examination. It will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The candidates who qualify AIBE are awarded with a ‘Certificate of Practice’. AIBE is conducted to determine the capabilities of an advocate so that he / she can practice the profession of law in India. In a nutshell, AIBE judges the analytical abilities and basic knowledge of the law of the candidates.

The candidates can do the registration for AIBE XVI (16) only at aibe16.allindiabarexamination.com. To complete the registration, the candidates have to:
- Visit the official website and enter the enrollment number from the enrollment certificate of BCI, state and year of enrollment.
- Next, enter the personal details, address details and educational details.
- Now, enter the candidate type, disability details and select the exam centre.
- Then, upload the required documents and images.
- Next, login and pay the application fee.
- At last, take the printout of the submitted application form.
Registration Fee: The candidates can pay the registration fee using debit card / credit card / net banking or SBI challan. The registration fee for AIBE XVI (16) is:

The Bar Council of India releases the admit card for AIBE XVI (16) online at aibe16.allindiabarexamination.com. The candidates can download AIBE XVI (16) admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth.
- It is necessary for all the candidates to carry the printed copy of the admit card to the exam centre as it is used for verification purposes.
- Along with the admit card, the candidates need to also carry a photo id proof and disability certificate (if applicable).
- The admit card is only released online. It is not sent via post.
